Bear is a gorgeous girl with an outgoing, loving personality. She loves children, and is very gentle and obedient.  She is 21" and 77lbs. with a lovely head, great angles, and an outstanding tail.

Bear completed her show championship at 11 months old in just three weekends!  She also completed her PCD at 9 months old.  She is the first dog in Newfoundland to complete the new obedience title of PCD. In November, 2006  "Bear" completed her Companion Dog title in obedience winning High in Trials! Her 3 legs were completed with 3 High in Class wins and 1 High in Trials under Judge Dianne Heisler! In September 2007, "Bear" earned her latest obedience title, Canine Good Neighbour (CGN)!

Another highlight for "Bear" was her winning the Naiad Atlantic Labrador Retriever Club's PUPPY OF THE YEAR award for 2003!!!

With Limited showing(5 week-ends) her show accomplishments include:

• 9 Best Puppy in Breed
• 5 Best Puppy in Sporting Group
• 1 Group 4th
• 4 Group 3rd
• 1 Group 2nd
• 2 BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Bear also won the following awards in obedience trials with the Newfoundland Kennel Club (NKC) in 2006:

- High Single in Novice B 

- High Average in Novice B 

- Highest Single Overall 

August 2008 - In  2 AKC Rally O trials, Bear got two passing scores including a score of 97 out of 100 towards a title of Rally Novice (RN) in obedience. This was the FIRST time Rally O trials have EVER been available in Nrewfoundland!!
