We
are NOT a "kennel" nor are we a business! ALL our dogs are
pets first and live with us in the home! We breed limited litters and strive
to produce show quality puppies who are healthy and have great temperaments.
Also very important is
our dogs' quality of life. Since our dogs are pets first and live in the home
with us as a part of the family, we will not accept anything less from homes
where pups are placed. We carefully screen homes to ensure that each family is
ready to provide a puppy with the life he/she deserves.
Our goal is to produce
quality with the end result being pups who are happy and healthy and place
them in family homes where both the owners and pups are happy to share and
enrich each other lives.
ALL Puppies are born
and raised in the home. There is someone home with them at ALL times and they
are extremely well cared for. They receive hours of attention and
socialization each and every day of their lives. As they mature, they spend
time outside playing throughout the day as well as play inside. Of course,
this play is always carefully supervised!
They are from sires and
dams who are typically Canadian Conformation Show Champions and have pedigrees
with many Canadian or American Champions. Sires and dams have also been
cleared of hip and elbow dysplasia and PRA eye disease. This greatly reduces
the likelihood that such will develop in puppies produced!!!! As well, all
Labs we breed have the proper Labrador temperament. They are happy, friendly
and have NO aggression!!!!
When our pups go to
their homes, they:
- are inoculated with
their first set of needles
- are permanently
tattooed for identification
- are Canadian Kennel
Club (CKC) registered
- leave with an
elaborate "Puppy Portfolio" with tips on house and crate training,
tips on what things to do, not to do, a breakdown of when future inoculations
are required, etc. Of course, we are always available to offer advice and
support for the entire life of each Labrador Retriever we place.
- leave with a written
health guarantee.
- are completely
socialized, have great temperaments, and are ready to be loved. They are happy
and loving and will greet you with tails wagging!
We also discuss with
new owners name choice for their puppy as they would like to see it on the CKC
registration.
